Guarding our hearts from selfish adoption
I have recently entered the world of Twitter to follow our friends as they go to Ethiopia to pick up their children. I'm still figuring Twitter out and but one thing I do like is how it points you to great blog posts and news articles (assuming you "follow" the right crowd). I was directed to an amazing post by an adoptive dad who is waiting to bring home 2 sons from Ethiopia. It's a very important, challenging, convicting and encouraging post for Christians in the adoption process. This is an easy time to be selfish and forget that God's has already planned this journey out completely. This dad reminds us of our amazing responsibility as ambassadors for the gospel in the adoption process.
